I’m Tabitha—better defined as someone who loves a good joke, is open for new adventures, and truly loves soaking up all that life and people have to offer.  I love my family, my fur babies, and popping my earbuds in to vibe with any of my favorite musicians or reading a good book. As a therapist, I wholeheartedly value being honest, real, and open in the therapy space.  My commitment to my clients is that I will bring all of those values to our sessions together so you get the most authentic version of me.

I am passionate about helping people, specifically people who are tired of going through the same old habits and not feeling any different. I know what it’s like to struggle, specifically in some of the areas that I treat, so I am honored to be helping people discover the genuine versions of themselves. My best work is done when walking alongside adolescents and adults to help build a better sense of self when struggles with body image, eating, perfectionism, and anxiety appear.  I use an eclectic approach looking for what works best to help you reach your goals all the while providing a warm, inviting space allowing you to be yourself.

Being in the field for 10 years has allowed me to sit with clients in times of need, and support them in ways that benefit their emotional well-being. I encourage my clients to be active participants in the space through sharing perspectives, ideas, and feedback regarding the process. This is all about you, and I will allow you to define the space as you see most helpful. Throughout my experience, I have been provided with the opportunity to be trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Exposure Response Prevention (ERP).  Despite the knowledge of these therapies, we will work together to identify the best path to foster a balanced life.

I have experience in multiple settings including hospitals, clinics, and day programs.  I have additional training with regards to mood disorders including anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder and am currently expanding my knowledge in the area of embodiment.

If you are open to working with me, let’s chat! I look forward to hearing from you and I can’t wait to help you live the life you deserve to be living!
